North American Contractors is growing, and we’ll be selecting another great person to help us grow our company as Administrative Assistant. We are a family-owned construction company located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our company assists homeowners in the remodeling process as well as the re-construction process of their home after a storm hits. Whether it is helping them through the insurance claims process or giving suggestions on color options, we are incredibly committed to providing our clients with an exceptional experience. You see yourself as a highly motivated, positive and decidedly detailed person that can handle the responsibilities that go along with providing skillful and thorough support to the Sales Organization and others on the NAC Team. The challenge of prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities just seems like home to you. Staying on top of daily tasks/projects and being the “Master of Follow-up” are a given in your mind. You’re so organized, people notice.

You are calm in a crisis and gracious when tension mounts.

Maybe you have a degree… or maybe you don’t. We are selecting a person based on what they can bring into our company, and we’re less concerned about where they learned it. The important thing is that you have the kind of experience that illustrates a verifiable and proven track record. Of course, there’s no doubt that strong verbal and written communication skills are one of your strong suits. You already have a firm grasp on technology and are quick to adapt to new systems.

More specifically you will be doing this really important stuff:

Overall, you are the administrative hub for the entire organization. Frequently you’ll be the first contact with incoming calls and visitors. So, you set the tone with these folks by presenting a positive and professional image for the organization. After they interact with you, they’ll know we’re different and the extraordinary experience has begun.

You’ll literally touch every client file and the support you provide to the sales teams is “mission critical.” That means that you’ll be the go-to person when it comes to core administrative activities. Everyone counts on you to maintain the accurate flow of information in one way or another.

When it comes to the Sales Team, you’re working directly with a variety of personalities, strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes, this means looking for ways to tactfully pry stuff loose to keep things focused on achieving results. You’ll support the Sales Manager by maintaining sales records and compiling monthly reports to track leads, measure effectiveness and monitor performance for sales contests.

You maintain a follow-up system for project deadlines for yourself, the Sales Manager, and others. You keep stuff moving and don’t let anything fall through the cracks.

You’ll command respect throughout the organization, because you’ll earn it. Everyone knows you are trustworthy, especially when it comes to delicate matters.

• This is a full-time position with a Base Salary (not set in granite because we don’t know you yet)
